Religion, Violent extremists & Mental Health Therapy

RELIGION AS PROBLEM   A number of theorists have attempted to move beyond global, stereotyped views of religion to delineate more specific aspects of religion that may be responsible for its troubling links with personal and social pathology. For example, Allport articulated several characteristics of an “immature religious sentiment”: simplistic and undifferentiated; fanatical and impulsive; lacking influence over conduct and values; intolerant and incomplete; and internally conflicted and fragmented. “Damien, what I find interesting is how an atheist like you spends so much time and energy on God and religion.” – Challenger   My response, well let’s see, maybe because we atheists and antireligionists care to inform our fellow humans who have been lied to and are lying to others and often forcing religion on children indoctrinating them with lies over truth and it’s harming us all. You know all the religious hate groups and religious violence stuff and the life. What I find interesting is how could a responsible caring ethical person stay silent against religions, that my friend is a much better question.   Reasons for or Types of Atheism My Blog, My Memes & Short-writing or Quotes Here is my external pages or content: Facebook Witter Page, My YouTube, My Linkedin, Twitter: @AthopeMarie, Instagram: damienathope, Personal Facebook Page, Secondary Personal Facebook Page, Main Atheist Facebook Page, Secondary Atheist Facebook Page, Facebook Leftist Political Page, Facebook Group: Atheist for Non-monogamy, Facebook Group: (HARP) Humanism, Atheism, Rationalism, & Philosophy and My...
