I hate the us vs them dichotomy, so let me do just that, claiming not to.

“I value common sense, and the ability of people to live without labels, which helps me easily recognize idiots that need 30 “ist” labels to explain who they are. As even one “ist” label is too many, as they are a sure sign that people are joining tribes, and movements instead of being an independent thinker. #IdentitypoliticsIsPoison #StopJoiningTribes #GrowUP #NobodyCares” – Challenger My response, So you don’t like labels (short expressions that transfer a group of information you know like hashtags but I get to you they are all good, well good for you. Do you not get you said not one thing that makes you better, but different. “Labels are intellectual poison to any society, and they are almost always divisive.” – Challenger My response, sounds like a claim evidence, please? “Really just open up a history book. Even secular ideologies such as communism and socialism have supported tribalistic thinking, and violence. Even atheism has why don’t you read up on the league of militant atheists. Any time we start using labels to define people it leads to disaster.” – Challenger My response, I am kindly waiting for your proof? “No you are being a troll. Every war humanity has ever fought has been based in an us vs them dichotomy derived from people joining tribes, and movements. Do you want this explained in further detail? exactly what kind of proof would you find sufficient? The answer is none, because your entire persona is based on these labels, and you are too damn lazy to actually read a book.” – Challenger My response, Well, it is you that is...

It seems, in general, the less education and higher poverty have a higher correlation to being religious.

It seems, in general, the less education and higher poverty have a higher correlation to being religious. Education levels vary a great deal by religion. About four-in-ten Hindus (41%) and more than one-third of Muslims (36%) in the study have no formal schooling. In other religious groups, the shares without any schooling range from 10% of Buddhists to 1% of Jews, while a majority of Jewish adults (61%) have post-secondary degrees. Generally, poorer nations tend to be religious; wealthy less so, except for U.S. ref, ref, ref   Reasons for or Types of Atheism My Blog, My Memes & Short-writing or Quotes Here is my external pages or content: Facebook Witter Page, My YouTube, My Linkedin, Twitter: @AthopeMarie, Instagram: damienathope, Personal Facebook Page, Secondary Personal Facebook Page, Main Atheist Facebook Page, Secondary Atheist Facebook Page, Facebook Leftist Political Page, Facebook Group: Atheist for Non-monogamy, Facebook Group: (HARP) Humanism, Atheism, Rationalism, & Philosophy and My...

Similarities and differences in Animism and Totemism

The above picture is my art and I am going to explain some of its imagery.   “Religion is an Evolved Product” Animism is more holistic, and feminine in nature things even is nature has tricksters and malevolence it is also protective and helpful. There s spirits and supernatural beings both animal and human as well as nonhuman supernatural things or being but in general would be attributed to a somewhat personal ancestor grandmother/grandfather or great grandmother/grandfather, not as much of what we think about like a god today.  Animism (from Latin anima, “breath, spirit, life”) is the religious belief that objects, places, and creatures all possess a distinct spiritual essence. Potentially, animism perceives all things—animals, plants, rocks, rivers, weather systems, human handiwork and perhaps even words—as animated and alive. Animism is the oldest known type of belief system in the world that even predates paganism. It is still practised in a variety of forms in many traditional societies. Animism is used in the anthropology of religion as a term for the belief system of many indigenous tribal peoples, especially in contrast to the relatively more recent development of organized religions. Although each culture has its own different mythologies and rituals, “animism” is said to describe the most common, foundational thread of indigenous peoples’ “spiritual” or “supernatural” perspectives. The animistic perspective is so widely held and inherent to most animistic indigenous peoples that they often do not even have a word in their languages that corresponds to “animism” (or even “religion”); the term is an anthropological construct. ref * “animist” Believe in spirit-filled life and/or afterlife (you are a hidden animist/Animism : an approximately 100,000-year-old belief...

Critical Thinking, What Does it Mean to Be Open to Learn?

Critical Thinking, What Does it Mean to Be Open to Learn? Here is a blog of mine on why the Fibonacci-sequence is not scientific evidence of a creator: http://damienmarieathope.com/2015/09/fibonacci-sequence-as-scientific-evidence-of-a-creator/ “I want real factors of evidence Not Mockery in discussion. Mathematical factors in correlation of so many structures in life certainly do prove evident to me that there is a design. I will admit ive been wrong but mockery proves nothing to me but seeming contempt.” – Challenger Nancy Raso I was going to send this to you but to be honest I didn’t get to listen the whole thing. Damien AtHope doesn’t usually mock but let me hear it & get back to you. My response, Life is part of evolution so there is connections and similar patterns that is not design. Creationism is a debunked religious conspiracy theory, just like its wolf in sheep’s clothing cousin, intelligent destine. The theory of evolution originated with Charles Darwin but left hypothesis, when it was supported by study of DNA combined with physical evidence. Creationism debunking examples which support the Theory of Evolution are a universality in the worlds genetic code along with cross-species genetic commonalities. While it is scientifically understandable to grasp that we share DNA with great apes including orangutans, chimpanzees, gorillas, and bonobos; which can share up to approximately 98% of human DNA but it does not end there by a long shot. Humans also share DNA with other animals, as we all evolved together in a since or more accurately share common evolutionary ancestors. You may be amazed to learn mice seemingly so different than us can share...
