When we have a proposition seeming to compel belief or a choice of the mental assessment for a belief; what is offered as the religious choice is often pseudo justification for belief, called faith (strong belief without or contrary to evidence). I reject pseudo justification thus I reject faith. What I propose or believe should be the standard is reason and evidence to support a justification for belief. Some seem to confuse faith and belief as the same or interchangeable properties, when in fact they are nothing of the sort. For instance, religious people or theists say I have belief in god because I have faith. This shows that they actually get that the mental action of belief requires justification; the problem is they offer pseudo justification for belief, called faith. Moreover, not only should we not use faith and instead hold fast to the real justification for belief such as reason and evidence. We likewise, should proportion our belief to the quality or amount of available reason and evidence, as well as stay open to amend any beliefs upon new higher quality reason and evidence.
