34,000 years old Paleolithic dog or wolf dog hybrid skulls found in Razboinichya Cave, Siberia

34,000 Years Ago – (Europe), found evidence of paleolithic dog or wolf dog hybrid skulls found 34,000 years ago in Razboinichya Cave, Siberia, 29,000 years ago in Gravettian Předmostí, Czech Republic, and 23,000 years ago in Goyet Cave, Belgium. The teeth of canines were commonly pierced to wear as jewelry and some of the ancient dog skulls show signs of red ochre, a few with things shoved in their mouth implying some sort of ritual was carried out after the death of the dog.   One study shows dogs’ relationship with humans might date back to 40,000 years ago suggested after analysis of ancient Taimyr wolf bone. Maybe early dogs were considered to be more human than animal and could be sacralizing. Some evidence seems to imply that dogs could have been domesticated 100,000 years ago. Fossil bones of dogs have been found along with human remains in caves around the world. Arguments have been made that dogs first became domesticated in the Middle East, Europe, or various sites in Southeast Asia.   The fossils at proposed sites all date from times that slightly predate the origins of agriculture. The researchers do have an explanation for the older period that makes good sense. Although the fossil record for dogs becomes obscure beyond about 14,000 years ago, there are fossils of wolf bones in association with early humans from well beyond 100,000 years ago. Tamed wolves might have taken up with hunter-gatherers without changing in ways that the fossil record would capture. The dogs-in-process probably would have dallied with wolves as packs of humans and canines traveled the world.  ...

Rock crystal stone tools made by Neanderthals

75,000 Years Ago – (Spain), found evidence rock crystal stone tools made by Neanderthals in Navalmaíllo rockshelter Pinilla del Valle, Madrid, Spain. Rock crystal, or quartz, is, surprisingly, not so good for tools as flint and other similar stone minerals.   The scarcity or quality of raw materials is not the reason for this behavior. The most characteristic feature of the stone tools at Navalmaíllo artifacts which are mostly made of quartz (commonly called “milky quartz”). Chert (a low grade flint) and other good raw materials, such as quartzites—found in river terraces—are relatively abundant in the central Iberian Peninsula, where Navalmaíllo rockshelter is located.   Quartz cobbles are also common locally, but this material was usually avoided during the Middle Paleolithic period between 100,000 and 40,000 years ago. The few exceptions are always in rock shelters or caves. The best known are Jarama VI cave and Peña Capón rockshelter central spain. This use of rock crystal, or quartz also is seen Europe such as southwestern France such as at the Les Merveilles rock shelter.   At prehistoric sites in the Austrian alps, quartz or quartzite was generally used very frequently as raw material for stone tools, about 68 % of the stone tool artefacts from Repolusthöhle (Repolust), Austria were made of quartzite. More than 99 % of the lithic artefacts from the Drachenhöhle (Dragon’s Cave), Austria were made of quartz or quartzite and about 90 % of the artefacts from the Tunnelsteinhöhle, Austria were made of quartz.   This is evidence of the collection by Neanderthals of highly crafted objects of no great use, except for their beauty or...

40,000 years old the Lion man of the Hohlenstein Stadel

40,000 years old the Lion man of the Hohlenstein Stadel is a very early prehistoric sculpture that was discovered in the Hohlenstein-Stadel, a German cave. The lion-headed figurine, is an ivory sculpture that is both the oldest known zoomorphic (animal-shaped) sculpture in the world, and is associated with the archaeological Aurignacian culture. After this artifact was identified, a similar, but smaller, lion-headed human sculpture much more crude or warn was found dated to around 32,000 to 30,000 years ago, along with other animal figurines and several flutes, in another cave in the same region of Germany. This leads to the possibility that the Löwenmensch figurine played an important role in the mythology of early humans. Following these discoveries, female figurines from approximately the same prehistoric period, such as the Venus of Hohle Fels, have been discovered in the same mountainous area of Germany. 1, 2     Reasons for or Types of Atheism My Blog, My Memes & Short-writing or Quotes Here is my external pages or content: Facebook Witter Page, My YouTube, My Linkedin, Twitter: @AthopeMarie, Instagram: damienathope, Personal Facebook Page, Secondary Personal Facebook Page, Main Atheist Facebook Page, Secondary Atheist Facebook Page, Facebook Leftist Political Page, Facebook Group: Atheist for Non-monogamy, Facebook Group: (HARP) Humanism, Atheism, Rationalism, & Philosophy and My...

Free of coercion, means the freedom to say NO.

No one is obligated to give or engage in sex, not even in a relationship or marriage; but this includes the thinking behind the term ”friendzone.”   To me the idea of ”friendzone” is or may be connected to some odd belief that people mostly women have an obligation to offer sex in return for friendly actions or thoughts. To such thinking I wish to remind people that NO one is required to be sexual with anyone regardless of how nice you are, how close you are as friends, on a date, or if you’re romantically together, etc.   I always strive to respect the body ownership of others including their right to use sexual consent when, how and with whom they wish and there is no external entitlement nor obligation owed or owned by anyone else then the person themselves....

Cultural-Encapsulation and Multiculturalism?

To me after taking multiculturalism classes in collage for my degree in psychology it was like 15 to 20 people and it was all women and only three who were not and I was surprised that when I brought up feminism and issues of limited sexual binary thinking (homophobia, internalized homophobia, transphobia, genderqueerphobia and intersexphobia) I was attacked and challenged especially about feminism which some said was not even needed anymore. Likewise, they seemed to feel they were being multicultural just focusing on race. And one man the only person openly gay started to support me some but on homophobia but even he had not heard about genderqueer; though he was open to learn. What I started to think is one cannot truly be multicultural unless they are culturally multiple and even then we must realize we are often culturally encapsulated and thus not only must listen and learn from others of other cultures, subcultures or countercultures, we must see we may even if unintentionally be culturally biased in our thinking or approach to multiculturalism.   Me and My Gender Diversity    Gendered Thinking   Atheism, Feminism, and Equality?    Homophobia, Transphobia, and Genderqueerphobia Hurts Us All   Modern Humans start around 50,000 years ago Helped by...
