Antagonist atheism: someone who doesn’t just think that God does not exists but actively goes out of their way to openly ridicule or otherwise attack peoples having faith. Antagonist atheism would be excessive mocking of people and ideas many outspoken atheists may attack thinking but this is more confrontational to people. “Antagonist atheists actively assert that god does not exist and “evangelize” their worldview directly to see its destruction, some stick to hard charging attacks to the concept of gods and religion while other turn this into a negative argumentation attack on the people in the belief or people who may believe. This desire for theism /god to be destroyed in itself are not the issue its the turning the arguments about people. Some who employ antagonist atheism could be termed “Hate-theists”rather than just “Hate-Theism”, some not, and some are just very strong antithesis. This is not to say all antagonist atheist are the same or for the same reason some reasonable some nmat not be as reasonable, those who often desire to antagonize as their main method may be going as far as becoming Hate-theists. Antagonist atheism may be used to describe those who cannot help but espouse their hatred (not just disagreement) with “people” in theism rather than the idea of theism itself.  Despite its alliterative charm ‘antagonistic atheism’ seems like a tag invented by those proponents of religion who cannot tackle atheistic arguments head on. 1 2
