Christchurch “Islamaphobia” mosque terror attacks: At least 49 shot dead in New Zealand massacre.

I condemn Islamaphobia, I fight flawed or harmful ideas in religions but I wish no harm of people.

“Damien, it’s perfectly rational to fear supremacists…” – Challenger #1

My response, Are you referring to white supremacists? If so they are part of a hate group.

“I’m referring to all supremacists.” – Challenger #1

My response, So you are not saying all Muslims are supremacists, right?

“Aren’t all religious people that believe in hell are supremacist in that fashion? It is the case that Muslims are far more likely to be violent in their supremacy. But, generally, I don’t think it’s bigoted to suggest that one’s ideology is more supreme than someone else’s ideology. That doesn’t mean it’s true, of course. And, of course, Muslims and Christians are incorrect in being supreme, in my opinion.” – Challenger #2

My response, No, not all religions, nor all Muslims and Christians are supremacists. And yes thinking all religions with hells is at least irrational and Islamaphobia or Christophobia, just as Atheophobia are bigotry and or irrational fear to think all are. And its Christians that are doing the most here in America. 98% of All Domestic Terror Attacks Last Year Were Committed by Right-Wing Extremists 2018.

My response, “According to a 2017 report by the U.S. Government Accountability Office, “of the 85 violent extremist incidents that resulted in death since September 12, 2001, far right wingviolent extremist groups were responsible for 62 (73 percent) while radical Islamist violent extremists were responsible for 23 (27 percent). The total number of fatalities is about the same for far right wing violent extremists and radical Islamist violent extremists over the approximately 15-year period (106 and 119, respectively). However, 41 percent of the deaths attributable to radical Islamist violent extremists occurred in a single event—an attack at an Orlando, Florida night club in 2016.” In 2018, most ideologically motivated murders were linked to right-wing extremism.” ref

“I find it weird to skip over Sept 11th, though. And 27% violent extremists coming from a group that only makes up about 3% of the population is rather troublesome. I’m still reading the ADL study that you’ve linked, though. Man, how are they including “Incel extremism” as “Right-wing extremists” lol  It seems more likely that Islamic extremists are more right-wing and conservative than incel extremists lol”– Challenger #2

My response, So a fringe terrorist group did a terrorist act is your proof. Not all Muslims supported them and they killed Muslims too, just like ISIS. And if you think otherwise you are irrational or a bigot.  You are not accepting the facts and giving your options as fact? Ideas that are either not relatable to justify your thinking and that do not relate to the facts I have given you and you think you are not fear mongering bigot or being irrational?

Damien Marie Athope, my proof of what? What do you think I’m claiming?  And, to react to your statement of “Not all Muslims supported them and they killed muslems too just like isis.” can also be applied to many other terrorist attacks.” – Challenger #2

My response, So you said, “Aren’t all religious people that believe in hell are supremacist” no, they are not.

“The headline to the article that you published is inaccurate. “98% of All Domestic Terror Attacks Last Year Were Committed by Right-Wing Extremists” Right wing terrorists killed 98% of people killed by terrorists in 2018, but that does not mean that 98% of terror attacks were committed by right-wingers. There’s an obvious difference in the number of terrorists attacks and the number of people killed in terrorist attacks. Ah, that claim. And which facts am I not accepting, bud?” – Challenger #2

My response, You said, “Muslims are far more likely to be violent in their supremacy”, and yet the christian and  right-wingers are the biggest threat and have way mire hate groups and are doing the most domestic terrorism. And here is Incel extremism terrorism: Alek Minassian: Toronto attack suspect posted online about ‘incel rebellion’, say police. The 25-year-old is facing 10 counts of murder and 13 of attempted murder. ((Incel terrorism: Alek Minassian, alleged killer of ten in Toronto van attack was inspired by Elliot Rodger)).

Damien Marie Athope, yes, my claim is accurate. It does not go against the facts. Per capita, muslims are far more likely to be violent in their supremacy. I’ve went over this using the stats that you provided. I.E., Muslims made up roughly 2 to 3% of the population in the USA from Sept 12th, 2001 to present and made up 27% of terrorist attacks in that time frame. Still, I find it weird not to include Sept 11th, 2001.” – Challenger #2

“Any belief system that wants to kill me because I don’t believe, should be avoided. Islamophobia is an oxymoron.” – Challenger #3

My response, I am going to block you as I see you are a bigot Challenger #2 and Challenger #3, bye.

“Islamophobia is the fear, hatred of, or prejudice against, the Islamic religion or Muslims generally, especially when seen as a geopolitical force or the source of terrorism.  Some commentators have posited an increase in Islamophobia resulting from the September 11 attacks, the rise of Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant, some from multiple terror attacks in Europe and the United States, while others have associated it with the increased presence of Muslims in the United States and in the European Union. Some people also question the validity of the term.” ref

Christophobia is the irrational fear or hatred of Christianity or Christians. While Christophobia is a real thing, it is usually used as a snarl word by some Christians with a persecution complexand (at most) only a passing familiarity with reality. There’s probably a good overlap with the people who claim there’s a liberal bias in the media. For whatever reason, the term hasn’t really caught on well as more verbose alternatives such as “anti-Christian bias.” ref

“Atheophobia is a term used to describe the fear, distrust, or hatred of atheists or atheism. Like homophobia and transphobia, it is largely driven by fear and anger at the loss of religious privilege, as well as dogma-based biases/prejudices. Atheophobia expresses itself in the form of generalised attacks on all atheists, as if they were of one mind and one will (in fact, some conservative atheophobes will often refer to atheists as “the atheist”, as if to punctuate the point). Claims about atheists made by atheophobes include such diverse elements as:

  • moral inferiority of atheists/atheism
  • evilness of atheists
  • atheists have rejected God and embrace sin (or rejected God to embrace sin)
  • atheists wish to destroy religion and abolish religious holidays
  • atheists have meaningless or decadent lives
  • atheists should not be allowed to express their lack of belief
  • atheists are a corrupting influence
  • atheists are unsuited to responsibility
  • atheists get to stay up late and take drugs and it’s just not fair
  • atheists can have guilt-free sex and it’s just not fair
  • atheists get to have Saturday and Sunday mornings off and it’s just not fair
  • atheists get to do more fun things in their lives and it’s just not fair
  • atheists don’t have to ask for anything and it’s just not fair
  • atheists lead lives that are empty and degenerate
  • atheists are just college kids wishing to escape personal responsibility
  • atheists are just going through a “teenage phase”
  • atheists are men with ‘defective’ or deceased fathers. ref

Donald Trump: ‘I Don’t Really’ See A Rise In White Nationalism

WhiteNationalist Terrorism, the problem Trump will not fight.

TRUMP SUGGESTS THAT IT COULD GET ‘VERY BAD’ IF MILITARY, POLICE, BIKER SUPPORTERS PLAY ‘TOUGH’ March 13, 2019

President Trump in a new interview suggested that his supporters are tougher than Democrats, and that if they actually play tough things could get “very bad.”

Trump made the comments in the context of an interview with the conservative outlet Breitbart in which he argued that Democrats play a tough political game.

“You know, the left plays a tougher game, it’s very funny,” Trump said in the interview with Breitbart published on Wednesday. “I actually think that the people on the right are tougher, but they don’t play it tougher.”

“I can tell you I have the support of the police, the support of the military, the support of the Bikers for Trump – I have the tough people, but they don’t play it tough — until they go to a certain point, and then it would be very bad, very bad,” Trump said.

“But the left plays it cuter and tougher. Like with all the nonsense that they do in Congress … with all this invest[igations] — that’s all they want to do is — you know, they do things that are nasty. Republicans never played this.”

In his remarks, Trump traveled down territory he has visited in the past.

During a rally for then-Missouri Senate candidate Josh Hawley (R) in September, Trump said that his opponents “were lucky that we’re peaceful,” The Washington Post noted in a post on his more recent comments.

“Law enforcement, military, construction workers, Bikers for Trump … They travel all over the country …. They’ve been great,” Trump said at the time. “But these are tough people … But they’re peaceful people, and antifa and all — they’d better hope they stay that way.”

The latest remarks were seized upon in some quarters as another example of Trump seeming to offer threats toward his political opponents.

Trump has faced scrutiny in the past for directly calling on his supporters to use violence. He once said at a 2016 rally in Las Vegas that he’d like to punch a protester in the face.

Trump also encouraged his supporters at another event to “knock the crap” out of any protesters causing trouble.

“I promise you, I will pay for the legal fees,” Trump said.

Trump has repeatedly denounced his political opponents during his time in the White House. He has also continually referred to the media as the “enemy of the people.”

The White House Correspondents’ Association in February called on Trump to make it “absolutely clear to his supporters that violence against reporters is unacceptable.”

I do not hate simply because I challenge and expose myths or lies any more than others being thought of as loving simply because of the protection and hiding from challenge their favored myths or lies.

The truth is best championed in the sunlight of challenge.

An archaeologist once said to me “Damien religion and culture are very different”

My response, So are you saying that was always that way, such as would you say Native Americans’ cultures are separate from their religions? And do you think it always was the way you believe?

I had said that religion was a cultural product. That is still how I see it and there are other archaeologists that think close to me as well. Gods too are the myths of cultures that did not understand science or the world around them, seeing magic/supernatural everywhere.

I personally think there is a goddess and not enough evidence to support a male god at Çatalhöyük but if there was both a male and female god and goddess then I know the kind of gods they were like Proto-Indo-European mythology.

Cory Johnston ☭ Ⓐ Atheist Leftist @Skepticallefty & I (Damien Marie AtHope) @AthopeMarie (my YouTube & related blog) are working jointly in atheist, antitheist, antireligionist, antifascist, anarchist, socialist, and humanist endeavors in our videos together, generally, every other Saturday.

Why Does Power Bring Responsibility?

Think, how often is it the powerless that start wars, oppress others, or commit genocide? So, I guess the question is to us all, to ask, how can power not carry responsibility in a humanity concept? I know I see the deep ethical responsibility that if there is power their must be a humanistic responsibility of ethical and empathic stewardship of that power. Will I be brave enough to be kind? Will I possess enough courage to be compassionate? Will my valor reach its height of empathy? I as everyone, earns our justified respect by our actions, that are good, ethical, just, protecting, and kind. Do I have enough self-respect to put my love for humanity’s flushing, over being brought down by some of its bad actors? May we all be the ones doing good actions in the world, to help human flourishing.

I create the world I want to live in, striving for flourishing. Which is not a place but a positive potential involvement and promotion; a life of humanist goal precision. To master oneself, also means mastering positive prosocial behaviors needed for human flourishing. I may have lost a god myth as an atheist, but I am happy to tell you, my friend, it is exactly because of that, leaving the mental terrorizer, god belief, that I truly regained my connected ethical as well as kind humanity.

Cory and I will talk about prehistory and theism, addressing the relevance to atheism, anarchism, and socialism.

At the same time as the rise of the male god, 7,000 years ago, there was also the very time there was the rise of violence, war, and clans to kingdoms, then empires, then states. It is all connected back to 7,000 years ago, and it moved across the world.

I am not a good fit in the atheist movement that is mostly pro-capitalist, I am anti-capitalist. Mostly pro-skeptic, I am a rationalist not valuing skepticism. Mostly pro-agnostic, I am anti-agnostic. Mostly limited to anti-Abrahamic religions, I am an anti-religionist.

To me, the “male god” seems to have either emerged or become prominent around 7,000 years ago, whereas the now favored monotheism “male god” is more like 4,000 years ago or so. To me, the “female goddess” seems to have either emerged or become prominent around 11,000-10,000 years ago or so, losing the majority of its once prominence around 2,000 years ago due largely to the now favored monotheism “male god” that grow in prominence after 4,000 years ago or so.

My Thought on the Evolution of Gods?

Animal protector deities from old totems/spirit animal beliefs come first to me, 13,000/12,000 years ago, then women as deities 11,000/10,000 years ago, then male gods around 7,000/8,000 years ago. Moralistic gods around 5,000/4,000 years ago, and monotheistic gods around 4,000/3,000 years ago.

Gods?

“Animism” is needed to begin supernatural thinking.
“Totemism” is needed for supernatural thinking connecting human actions & related to clan/tribe.
“Shamanism” is needed for supernatural thinking to be controllable/changeable by special persons.

Together = Gods/paganism
