While the earth is about 4.54 billion years old and the first life dates to at least 3.5 billion years ago, the first primates did not appear until around 50-55 million years ago. But by 50 million years ago, dinosaurs were extinct from the Earth. Continental fragments collided, pushing up mountain ranges still existing today. The collision of Africa into Europe gave rise to the Alps in Europe, and the collision of India into Asia formed the Himalaya. Birds and mammals began to expand in number and diversity. Genetic studies show that primates diverged from other mammals about 85 million years ago, in the Late Cretaceous period, and the earliest fossils appear in the Paleocene, around 55 million years ago. Within the Hominoidea (apes) superfamily, the Hominidae family diverged from the Hylobatidae (gibbon) family some 15–20 million years ago; African great apes (subfamily Homininae) diverged from orangutans (Ponginae) about 14 million years ago; the Hominini tribe (humans, Australopithecines and other extinct biped genera, and chimpanzee) parted from the Gorillini tribe (gorillas) between 9 million years ago and 8 million years ago; and, in turn, the subtribes Hominina (humans and biped ancestors) and Panina (chimps) separated about 7.5 million years ago to 5.6 million years ago and humans are around 200,000 years ago. ref, ref, ref

“But Damien they are in Job 40:15–24, Ezekiel 29:3, Isaiah 27:1, Psalm 74:13-14, Job 41:1–34.” – challenger

My response, Job 40:15-24 is not a reality statement it is a fantasy about a volcano. “Look at Behemoth, which I made along with you and which feeds on grass like an ox. 16 What strength it has in its loins, what power in the muscles of its belly! 17 Its tail sways like a cedar; the sinews of its thighs are close-knit. 18 Its bones are tubes of bronze, its limbs like rods of iron. 19 It ranks first among the works of God, yet its Maker can approach it with his sword. 20 The hills bring it their produce, and all the wild animals play nearby. 21 Under the lotus plants it lies, hidden among the reeds in the marsh. 22 The lotuses conceal it in their shadow; the poplars by the stream surround it. 23 A raging river does not alarm it; it is secure, though the Jordan should surge against its mouth. 24 Can anyone capture it by the eyes, or trap it and pierce its nose?

My response, Did a Volcano Inspire the bible god? List of Biblical verses that suggest God was a volcano

Deuteronomy 5:26 For what mortal has ever heard the voice of the living God speaking out of fire, as we have, and survived?

Deuteronomy 9:3 But be assured today that the LORD your God is the one who goes across ahead of you like a devouring fire. He will destroy them; he will subdue them before you. And you will drive them out and annihilate them quickly, as the LORD has promised you.

2 Samuel 22:9 Smoke rose from his nostrils; consuming fire came from his mouth, burning coals blazed out of it.

My response, You offered Ezekiel 29:3, but I don’t see how you think this verse shows any credible claim to dinosaurs in the bible. Ezekiel 29:3 “Speak to him and say: ‘This is what the Sovereign LORD says: “‘I am against you, Pharaoh king of Egypt, you great monster lying among your streams. You say, “The Nile belongs to me; I made it for myself.”

My response, Again your offering of Isaiah 27:1 is yet more talk of fantasy monsters not evidence of dinosaurs in the bible. Isaiah 27:1 “In that day, the LORD will punish with his sword– his fierce, great and powerful sword– Leviathan the gliding serpent, Leviathan the coiling serpent; he will slay the monster of the sea.”

My response, You also offered Psalm 74:13-14 as evidence of dinosaurs in the bible but it is clearly no such thing. Psalm 74:13-14 “It was you who split open the sea by your power; you broke the heads of the monster in the waters. 14 It was you who crushed the heads of Leviathan and gave it as food to the creatures of the desert.”

My response, You must be kidding to think that Job 41 has anything to do with a real anything this talk is pure fantasy but especially so in Job 41: 18-21 18 Its snorting throws out flashes of light; its eyes are like the rays of dawn. 19 Flames stream from its mouth; sparks of fire shoot out. 20 Smoke pours from its nostrils as from a boiling pot over burning reeds. 21 Its breath sets coals ablaze, and flames dart from its mouth.

“How is job related to God being volcano? Not only that, God had many charasticts beyond fire and smoke, appearing to many as a light, as a man, wrestled with jacob in spirit. So I mean if I was ignorant of the bible as yourself and wanted to make a claim yea you could paste a few short sentences together to fit that claim, but the time moses people roamed in the dessert before comming to Jerusalem hardly covers the entirety of the bible itself. Adam WALKED with God in eden according to genesis. So you’re ignoring large parts of the bible in order to provide a dishonest narrative that you pre supposed about God. You posted the Lords description of a dinosaur. And said God is a volcano… Then it speaks of a great monster of the sea and its a fantasy. They were using real descriptions of animals to describe the power of God, not fanrasizing about animals which arent even the main focus. All these men lived hundreds of years apart and still describe the leviathan as a great monster of the sea. Its proof that not only is it not fantasy but the bible contains evudence of “dinosaurs” or large serpents. The behemoth is not a metephor for God. Nor was any of those scriptures related to the description of the behemoth in job…” – challenger

My response, but wait, is a great monster of the sea do you mean a giant squid?

“Didnt know squids were giant serpents.” – challenger

My response, So still you don’t justify with facts of a real giant serpent something to which we have evidence or is it just that again you are saying something of fantasy as if it is real?

“If you’re disregarding everything I gave you that’s fine, just say you choose to be ignorant and we can be done here.” – challenger

My response, I am pointing out the errors in your claims not just dismissing them so I am not just disregarding them.

“I just provided them to you. It would be easier to have a discussion if you didnt post replies on every post that doesnt even relate to our discussion.” – challenger

My response, Well, what do you not get, you offered no evidence of dinosaurs in the bible, even if one was generous, all it claims is mythical monsters. Again here is some science disproving the so-called bible claims, according to John Pickrell in an article Top 10: Dinosaur Myths | New Scientist stated “Dinosaurs and people coexist only in books, movies and cartoons. The last dinosaurs – other than birds – died out dramatically about 65 million years ago, while the fossils of our earliest human ancestors are only about 6 million years old. Mammals only evolved after dinosaurs died out. Tiny mammals lived in the shadow of the dinosaurs for more than 150 million years, occupying ecological niches as small, nocturnal animals weighing as little as 2 grams. The ancestors of mammals, animals called synapsids, actually appeared before dinosaurs. Mammals remained relatively small until 65 million years ago, when the demise of the dinosaurs left a mass of niches for larger mammals to fill. Most of the types of mammals we know today evolved after this time. Dinosaurs coexisted with mammals for 150 million years. Although dinosaur nests were undoubtedly vulnerable, the most dangerous predators were probably smaller dinosaurs. Most mammals of the time were probably too small to eat the eggs of large dinosaurs.” ref
